Veggie Wash's Reviews

's review La Verne, California

I'm so tired of buying fruits and vegetables that are over coated with waxes to preserve freshness. The waxes they add are not always naturally derived (i.e. Bee's wax), so who knows what you are eating and on top of that, the wax attracts germs and anything else to stick to it. Even warm water does not dissolve it and I have had my desperate moments where I have used hand soap. When the spray arrived I was skeptical but after spraying and rubbing the product in for 20 to 30 seconds, the wax came off during the rinse. No weird taste or smells left behind. The Veggie Wash left cucumbers without a filmy residue and my apples as they should be, not tacky and I can finally eat the skin without being disgusted. Tomatoes have a delicate skin but they were left intact and clean after using the spray. I like that the Veggie Wash is naturally derived so you are using a chemical free method to remove any waxes and/or germs that may cause illnesses. I have seen the full sized products being sold at stores like Fresh & Easy, so I will be picking up a bottle now. I always wondered but thanks to Swaggable's program, I wonder no more! I highly recommend picking up a bottle because your health will thank you! My taste buds are also thankful because no one likes sticky apples.

I liked how natural and nice the scent of Veggie Wash was. It was not strong or irritating. I like how it removes wax and chemicals from my produce. I think this is a safe and effective product for removing pesticides and chemicals from your fruits and vegetables.

's review Ocala, Florida

I really liked the veggie wash. It's the 1st time I tried a product like this & I was very pleased with how very clean my vegetables were after using. Like cucumbers they have a lot of wax build up & seen & felt a reduction with using the veggie wash. I never knew how much was really on my veggies until I tried it. I would suggest experimenting with washing the veggies with water then some with a veggie wash. Once ya do you will see a big difference. I highly recommend going the extra mile to clean your veggies to ensure a healthier way of life. We don't need extra wax or diet on a vegetables in our diets. :)

's review Tamarac, Florida

With natural VEGGIE WASH, i was shocked to learn that rinsing fruit and vegetables with waterdoes not remove pesticides, fungicides, waxes and other agricultural chemicals, because they are all designed to be water resistant. I used veggie wash to wash tomatoes, leaf lettuce and carrots. Seeing the reside left behind after I used veggie wash on carrots, tomatoes and leaf lettuce let me immediately know I definately need to purchase Veggie Wash. One taste of the just washed produce ...wow.....what a difference.

I absolutely LOVE Veggie Wash, and plan to buy more as soon as I run out! I have had this sample just sitting on my counter, waiting to be used and finally the other day I got the chance to use it. To start, they sent a 2 oz spray bottle, and I loved how simple it was to use. Just spray on the fruit or veggie, rub for a few seconds, rinse and BAM, clean veggies! Veggie Wash had managed to take all the wax off of a cucumber, and didn't leave any residual spray or wax behind. I'm impressed! I would recommend this product to anyone who wants clean veggies!!

's review Willis, Texas

I had never used a veggie wash before. I was skeptical, I did not see how it was going to make any difference than me scrubbing by hand. Well, I was wrong. It was so simple to use and effective. It leaves no residue and has no smell. Being pregnant and having a toddler it is extremely important to me to use safe, clean, nontoxic products. This definitely fits that description. I've used it on apples, cucumbers, bell peppers, tomatoes, and peppers. It has worked on all of them, leaving the clean, unwaxy, and delicious. I will use again and recommend!

's review Orange, Virginia

I used the Veggie Wash on an apple yesterday. According to directions, I was to apply product and rub for 20-30 seconds and then rinse it off. I did so and I still felt my apple was waxy afterwards. For more fragile items it says to dilute in water and swish for 30 seconds. Not too hard to use and it's all-natural but I think that I'll stick with my water/vinegar rinse instead. Especially when using it on smaller and/or more fragile fruits. Can you imagine trying to rub into individual grapes or swish raspberries in water?
